Setup on Windows
- 1Download Hiddify or v2rayN from the project's GitHub releases page. Choose the Windows 64 bit file.
- 2Install or unzip it and start the program. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, check that the file came from GitHub and continue.
- 3Get your key from @akimbo_key_bot in Telegram, on the PC or on your phone.
- 4Copy the vless:// line. In Hiddify click New profile and add it from the clipboard. In v2rayN press Ctrl+V.
- 5Press connect.
Two modes, explained simply
System proxy mode covers your browsers and most programs, and it does not need administrator rights. That makes it useful on a college or office laptop where you are not the admin, if the rules there allow it. TUN mode, which some clients call VPN mode, covers everything on the PC, including games and apps that ignore proxy settings. It needs administrator permission once. If a program still shows your Indian IP address, that program is ignoring the proxy, and TUN mode is the fix.
