One idea
A VPN, or virtual private network, is a private tunnel from your device to a server in another place. Everything your phone sends goes into the tunnel first and enters the internet from the server at the other end. Two things follow. Your operator and the Wi-Fi owner see the tunnel and cannot see what is inside it. And websites see the server's address and country, not yours. What is VPN for mobile, specifically
On a phone a VPN is a system feature. Android and iPhone both have a VPN switch, and an app fills it in. When it is on, a small key or VPN icon appears at the top of the screen, and every app uses the tunnel: the browser, YouTube, Instagram and games.
